BazaarBox · Policies & Customer Support

Terms & Conditions

Effective 8 October 2026. This English version is the current policy text.

These Terms govern access to and use of BazaarBox at bazaarbox.app and its installable web experience. By creating an account or using BazaarBox, you agree to these Terms and the policies referenced below.

1. Operator and contact

BazaarBox is operated in India by Deepumon Pillai, carrying on business as DMacht, at:

GHULE WASTI MANJARI BUDRUK, PUNE PIN 412307 MAHARASHTRA, INDIA

Support and grievance contact: hello@renewtech.solutions

ReNewTech Solutions collaborates in building BazaarBox and provides the support email service. ReNewTech Solutions is not identified by these Terms as the BazaarBox operator, contracting entity, or payment merchant.

2. Marketplace role

BazaarBox helps people discover, list, and discuss second-hand items available near them. BazaarBox is a local person-to-person classifieds marketplace. It is not the buyer or seller of items advertised by users.

BazaarBox does not currently provide shipping, delivery, packing, courier integration, shipping labels, fulfilment, escrow, buyer-to-seller item-payment processing, or returns logistics. Buyers and sellers arrange a local meeting, inspect the item, and complete the item transaction directly with each other.

Any fee paid to BazaarBox is only for marketplace listing access or a listing entitlement. It is not the purchase price of the advertised item and does not make BazaarBox a party to the transaction between buyer and seller.

3. Eligibility and accounts

You must provide accurate account information, keep access to your email and account secure, and promptly tell us if you suspect unauthorised use. You may not impersonate another person, create an account for deceptive purposes, or use another person’s account without authority.

4. Listings and moderation

Sellers may create a draft and submit it for moderation. A listing is not public merely because a seller has submitted it or can see it in their account. BazaarBox may approve, reject, request changes to, restrict, or remove a listing in accordance with the Posting Rules, safety requirements, applicable law, and these Terms.

Where a paid listing service is offered, publication follows approval and verification of the applicable payment or valid pack credit:

draft → moderation → approved awaiting entitlement/payment → payment or valid pack credit → publication → active for 30 days

Rejected unpublished listings ordinarily do not require payment and do not consume a listing entitlement. If a payment or pack credit is captured or reserved because of a processing race or recovery event and publication cannot occur, BazaarBox will apply the credit-restoration or refund process described in the Refund & Cancellation Policy.

BazaarBox may later remove a published listing if it violates these Terms, the Posting Rules, law, or safety requirements. Removal for a seller’s policy violation does not automatically create a refund, without limiting applicable statutory rights or a legitimate review or appeal.

5. Seller responsibilities

You are responsible for your listing and must:

  • own the item or have authority to sell it;
  • use the correct category;
  • provide an accurate title, description, price, condition, and location;
  • disclose known defects and material limitations;
  • use genuine photos of the item offered, up to the current maximum of four;
  • avoid duplicate listings, misleading prices, prohibited items, and public contact information; and
  • comply with the Posting Rules and applicable law.

User-generated listing descriptions may be written in any language, but BazaarBox may request clarification when needed for moderation.

6. Listing fees and introductory offers

The following prices describe BazaarBox listing services. A fee applies only when the applicable paid service is offered and you choose it at checkout; creating a draft does not itself authorise a charge.

Standard listing

A standard listing entitlement is a one-time ₹10 payment for one listing active for 30 days from publication. It is not a subscription and does not renew automatically. When the 30-day publication period ends, the listing expires. Relisting requires a new entitlement and another ₹10 payment.

Ending a published listing early because the item sold or the seller changed their mind does not automatically create a refund.

Introductory packs

Eligible verified accounts may choose one introductory promotional pack in total:

  • Launch Pack: promotional price ₹50 (reference price ₹200), for up to 20 new listings; or
  • Mega Launch Pack: promotional price ₹100 (reference price ₹1,000), for up to 100 new listings.

These packs are introductory offers, not subscriptions. The 30-day posting window begins after the payment provider confirms successful payment and BazaarBox grants the pack entitlement. A qualifying listing submitted or reserved during that posting window may complete moderation afterward. Each published listing receives its own 30-day publication period.

Unused and unreserved pack credits expire when the pack’s 30-day posting window ends. Credits are non-transferable, have no cash value, and cannot renew or relist an expired listing.

7. Payments to BazaarBox

Where BazaarBox charges a listing or promotional-pack fee, payment is processed through the payment methods made available at checkout. A listing fee is charged only when the applicable paid listing service is offered through BazaarBox. BazaarBox does not process or hold the purchase price of the advertised item.

The fee amount and currency are determined by BazaarBox’s server-side rules. A browser confirmation, redirect, screenshot, or pending provider status does not by itself grant a listing entitlement. Entitlement is granted only after BazaarBox verifies the provider result through its approved server-side process.

Refunds and cancellations are governed by the Refund & Cancellation Policy. The payment provider may also apply its own terms to the payment service it provides.

8. Local-meetup safety

For your safety:

  • keep initial conversations on BazaarBox when possible;
  • meet in a busy, well-lit public place, during reasonable hours where possible;
  • tell a trusted person where you are going;
  • avoid isolated or private locations, especially for a first meeting;
  • inspect the actual item and verify its condition and functionality before completing the transaction;
  • avoid advance deposits to strangers;
  • never share passwords, one-time passwords, PINs, or sensitive banking credentials;
  • leave if anything feels unsafe; and
  • contact the appropriate local emergency authorities if there is immediate danger.

If you move a conversation or transaction outside BazaarBox, we may not have the messages or information needed to investigate a problem. Moving off-platform does not remove any rights you may have under applicable law.

BazaarBox does not guarantee a buyer’s or seller’s identity, an item’s authenticity, condition or functionality, a successful sale, personal safety, or payment between buyer and seller.

9. Messaging, reports, and blocking

Use messaging respectfully and only for legitimate marketplace activity. Harassment, threats, fraud, spam, discrimination, and attempts to obtain passwords, OTPs, PINs, or sensitive banking information are prohibited.

Users may report listings or accounts and may block other users using available BazaarBox tools. Reports do not guarantee a particular result, but BazaarBox may investigate and take proportionate action based on available information.

10. Prohibited conduct

You must not:

  • offer prohibited, illegal, unsafe, stolen, counterfeit, recalled, or regulated items;
  • manipulate searches, moderation, eligibility, fees, or pack limits;
  • create substantially similar active listings or repost across cities or categories to evade rules or fees;
  • publish another person’s private information;
  • include a phone number, email address, external messaging handle, or other direct contact information in public listing fields;
  • scrape, interfere with, reverse engineer, overload, or compromise BazaarBox or another user’s account;
  • use BazaarBox for fraud, money laundering, illegal activity, or misleading conduct; or
  • submit wanted-to-buy advertisements in place of an item being offered for sale.

11. User content

You retain responsibility for the content you submit. You confirm that you have the rights needed to provide it and that it does not violate another person’s intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, or other rights.

12. Availability and changes

BazaarBox is a Beta service and may change, be interrupted, contain errors, or have features added or removed. We may update these Terms prospectively. Material changes should be communicated in a reasonable way before they take effect where required by law.

13. Disclaimers and responsibility

BazaarBox provides marketplace discovery and communication tools. Users are responsible for evaluating listings, people, meetings, and direct item transactions. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.

14. Suspension and termination

BazaarBox may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to address safety, fraud, abuse, policy violations, legal obligations, or risks to the service or users. Where appropriate, users may contact support to request review. Users remain responsible for obligations incurred before suspension or closure.

15. Contact

Questions, complaints, moderation appeals, and grievance requests may be sent to hello@renewtech.solutions. Include enough information to identify the account or listing and understand the issue, but do not email passwords, OTPs, PINs, or full payment credentials.
